Apollo Proton Cancer Centre sits at Dr Vikram Sarabhai Instronics Estate, 4/661, 7th West Street, Tharamani, Chennai — a different campus from Apollo Hospitals Greams Road, with its own accreditation and its own international patient service. Apollo describes it as the first and only proton therapy centre in South Asia and the Middle East, and as India's first JCI-accredited cancer hospital. The centre publishes a fully integrated treatment suite covering surgical, radiation and medical oncology, organised around cancer management teams rather than a single specialty ward. What brings a Bangladeshi family here is usually a case where proton beam therapy is being considered, or where a dedicated cancer campus is the clearer fit than a multi-specialty flagship. What does not bring them here under a Guide Doctors Chamber letterhead claiming a direct Apollo Proton agreement: treatment support for this centre is arranged via Bangla Health Connect, and that path is set out below rather than papered over.

Treatment support via Bangla Health Connect
This page is not claiming that Guide Doctors Chamber holds a signed direct representation agreement with Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, and it is not claiming exclusivity in Bangladesh. Treatment support for this centre is arranged via Bangla Health Connect. That is a different path from the signed direct Apollo arrangement described on our Apollo Hospitals Greams Road page, and collapsing the two would be the dishonest move. What we will still do is the same coordination duty we owe every family: the case is registered with the hospital in writing before the first appointment, you pay the hospital directly at the hospital's own rates, and if you want the relationship confirmed at either Bangla Health Connect's end or Apollo's international desk, ask us and we will put you in touch with the people handling your case.

What Apollo Proton's international patient service publishes
Drawn from Apollo Proton Cancer Centre's own international patient service page. The desk assigns a representative from first contact through appointment, visa assistance and travel. Read the language line carefully: interpreters are offered on special request and subject to availability, with no published language list — so Bangla is not something we will claim for this campus.
Visa and invitation letters
Apollo Proton states it provides a medical visa invitation letter to assist with a Medical Visa (MED) from the Indian embassy or consulate, and notes medical attendant visas for family members. It also describes FRRO registration assistance for stays over 180 days.
Airport transfer and arrival
Complimentary airport transfer assistance to Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, on the hospital's own international patient service list. Our coordinator still meets the flight either way.
Language and interpreters
Interpreters "to help you understand and communicate effectively with your cancer management team", offered on special request and subject to availability. Apollo Proton publishes no language list. The website's language switcher includes Bengali; that is a translated page, not a claim that a Bangla-speaking interpreter will be in the room.

Apollo Proton's international patient service page does not set out how cost estimates, deposits or currency exchange are handled for this campus. Ask us and we will get the estimate process confirmed in writing before anything is committed.
Insurance
The hospital publishes nothing here
Apollo Proton publishes nothing on this page about billing an insurer directly. Plan on paying the hospital and being reimbursed unless we have confirmation in writing for your case.
Accommodation
Apollo Proton points to nearby hotels and serviced apartments with patient rates, and also describes on-campus guest rooms for attendants on a separate level from patient rooms, with pantry facilities and in-house restaurant ordering.
Not Greams Road
This is the Tharamani proton campus, not Apollo Hospitals Greams Road. A multi-specialty Apollo referral and a proton-therapy referral are different buildings — we name which one in writing before anyone travels.
