About Dr. Bidisha Banerjee
Dr. Bidisha Banerjee obtained a DM in Paediatric Neurology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 2007; an MD in Paediatrics from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh in 2003; and an MBBS from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry in 2000. She is proficient in the management of paediatric neurological problems in acute and ambulatory settings, and provides specialised care in epilepsy and in neurodevelopmental, neuro-immunological, neurometabolic, neuromuscular, stroke, neonatal, neurogenetic and headache disorders. Other skills include paediatric electrophysiology — analysis and reporting of EEG in neonates to eighteen years of age, short- and long-term video EEG, EMG and nerve conduction studies, visual evoked potentials and brainstem evoked response audiometry — and dietary therapies in epilepsy. She contributes to the teaching and training of paediatric, paediatric neurology and neurology trainees, and has published in medical journals and textbooks in the field.
