About Dr. Amit Rauthan
Dr. Amit Rauthan is the Head of the Department and HOD & Consultant - Medical Oncology, Immunotherapy and Precision Medicine, in Old Airport Road, Bangalore, currently associated with Manipal Hospitals. Dr. Amit Rauthan has been involved in multiple newer modalities of medical management of cancer such as Immunotherapy, Targeted Therapies in Molecular Oncology, as well as Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy. Dr. Rauthan possesses proficiency in the Integration of Chemotherapy with Biological Therapies and in treating haematological malignancies as well as specific solid tumours like lung, breast, gastrointestinal, head, and neck cancers. He has vast experience with immunotherapy in clinical practice and has contributed significantly to the field of immuno-oncology in India. His focus is also on molecular oncology and precision oncology, and its applications in clinical practice. He is involved in several oncology clinical trials as a principal investigator. With a commendable academic record, Dr. Rauthan completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad. He then pursued his DM - Oncology from Gujarat University in 2004.
